Successfully shipping quality acrylic lenses requires excellent packaging materials and techniques, so that the contents survive the typically rough shipping and handling treatment. Some attention to detail is required of you in order to return the panels(s) to us safely.
Use All of the Original Packaging Materials
All protective top/bottom corrugate sheets, and side spacers, keep the product centered in the package for maximum protection.
Taping the Package
- We will use the same box to resell the panel(s). Please use Packaging Tape. Products secured with Duct Tape, Masking Tape, Strapping Tape, or anything else, will ruin the box, which must then be discarded. The return location does not have additional boxes for repackaging.
- It is imperative that the ends of the package are tightly taped, so that the panels cannot squeeze by the corrugate spacer that keeps them secured in the middle. This, along with a few complete runs of tape on the main seam, will properly secure the contents.
