This Sky Mural ceiling arrangement can be designed to fit a large ceiling layout to produce a dramatic lighting effect. Bring the beauty of the clouds, trees, and sunny sky into your own room. This is one of our largest designs. Though suitable for a 2-panel installation, it provides the highest image quality for ceilings of many panels.

We recommend the Day at the Park 2 or 3 versions (link below) if your installation is more elongated than square. Details such as birds and trees can be customized to your liking in either design by adding a note via the Customer Instructions box.

You may order this sky mural to be sized and printed on any number of acrylic panels, to produce a very large continuous skylight mural that spans multiple fixtures. It is shown in several different configurations in the additional product images.

Panel Brightnessi

Lightness-Darkness

The Panel Brightness rating assigned to each design is based on the average luminosity (0-Black to 255-White) of the digital artwork file. It can be used as a guideline to predict artwork light reduction of one design compared to another.

Darkest 1 – 139 1
Dark 140 – 169 2
Medium 170 – 199 3
Light 200 – 219 4
Lightest 220 – 255 5

Panel Brightness Examples:
#5: Best designs for kitchens, bathrooms and other rooms requiring the brightest light.
#4: Good designs for kitchens and bathrooms or in rooms where high light throughput is desired.
#3: Good for most lighting locations. Can work for kitchens in conjunction with a lot of other light sources (i.e., windows or canned lights).
#2: Not as dark as #1. Requires some task lighting in the room. Used commonly in treatment rooms.
#1: This design selection is for ambient lighting only with several other light sources for tasks.

    Great quality. I was not expecting them to be as dark as they are. The blue sky is a rich dark blue. It will darken the room. Be prepared for that.

Sky Murals

A Sky Mural is a customized arrangement of panels. Please specify the following, so that we may produce it to your requirements:

  1. Specify the number of Rows and Columns of panels in your ceiling grid to calculate Total Panels Ordered.
    Example: 3 Rows X 2 Columns for 6 Total Panels, as shown in Layout 1
  2. Enter the approximate  dimensions of the entire arrangement in Total Installation Size.
    This clarifies the orientation of your panels, but you may leave it blank if not immediately available.
  3. Select the size of each panel in the arrangement. (Size-A, Size-B or Custom)
  4. Verify the Print Medium (acrylic) desired. Large sizes automatically select a thicker acrylic but you may override this.
  5. Add any desired Image Add-Ons (optional) to the arrangement.
  6. Additional specifications for your Sky Mural may be entered in Customer Instructions.

Graphical Add-Ons allow you to add your own touch to one of our sky panels. Spice up your light fixture with one or more Hot Air Balloons, Birds, Airplanes and many other optional graphical items we have provided to suit your tastes.

How to Add Images to your Sky Panel or Sky Mural
Once you have selected a size for your product. Click on the Image Add-Ons link on the Product page and click on the images you wish to add. To de-select an image, simply check it again.

You may select one or more images.

  • Images will be scaled and added to your sky panel based on what our graphic artist feels will produce a realistic appearance. If you have a preference for size and location of the added images, enter this in the Customer Instructions field.
  • Once our designer has formulated your custom sky panel plus images, the proposed artwork will be emailed to you for approval.
  • Pricing – The first Graphical Add-On image is $30, with subsequent images on the panel priced at $20.

How QTY Pricing Works

The Quantity discount pricing above is applied when your complete order of all panel designs has been added to the Shopping Cart. That means everything in your cart. You will not see your total order savings until checkout time. Prices shown are for .060 White Acrylic.

Custom Size Orders* – Additional 1-Time Charges

$40 Artwork Preparation: To prepare artwork for a single design in a custom size.
$0 Additional Graphics Charge: If applicable, but only for complex designs ordered in a difficult aspect ratio.
Example: Ordering some 2×4 designs in a custom size of 32 x 23 may result in this charge.

Oversize Charges

For panels longer than 48, or wider 24 inches, Oversize Charges apply:

  1. A Per Panel charge related to the size ordered and/or thicker acrylic required.
  2. A 1-time charge of $10 for a custom-built package.
  3. Very large panels, requiring packages that exceed the FedEx girth limit, result in a 1-time charge of $145 per order (added at checkout).

 

An important note on quality: This original panel design is a print on the highest quality flat acrylic available for your recessed lighting application. The panel ships in a protective flat box, similar to a fine piece of art (learn more).

Our product is not back-lit film or thin acrylic rolled up into a small box or tube. We have meticulously chosen acrylic materials that meet our high standards for visual excellence.

Should you require a custom size of this image, it will not be simply cropped, but carefully edited by our artists to preserve the design's full character.
