We offer only the highest quality acrylic products for our decorative prints. They do not yellow or become brittle over time, and provide excellent light diffusion properties.
You may select any acrylic for your chosen artwork design, or simply order them without a printed design. For oversize panels, the recommended acrylic thickness (Print Medium) is automatically selected based on your size. You can override the automatic selection after entering the size, but it may result in some panel sag.
Fluorescent Gallery acrylic panels are available in the following thicknesses:
.060″ Matte White – This is our workhorse material used for 90% of our prints. It is a relatively thick material compared to other lighting lens products, which can be .040 and thinner. It is pliable enough to carefully maneuver into a fixture during installation and can be cut to size with a reasonable amount of skill.
.080″ Lumieo – Lumieo® is a premium white acrylic sheet that provides both high transmission and excellent lamp-hiding capabilities. The diffusion comes from a combination of very fine surface texture and special diffusing additives. It is a more rigid material than our .060 matte white acrylic. We print on Lumieo upon request, or when a larger size dictates it. Low inventory and temporarily available only for panels sized to require it.
.125″ Lumieo – This is the thickest light lens diffuser material we provide. Lumieo at .125” is quite durable and has the same beautiful diffusing quality as the .080″ product. We can use this thickness for panels up to 50″ x 50″ with very minimal center sag. The option to purchase this thickness is restricted to panels that are truly oversize. It will appear as the Print Medium option if the size requires it. Examples: 42″ x 32″ and 34″ x 34″.
For large cut-on-site jobs, all acrylic options are available to ship in sheets of “96 x 50” (printed or plain). Contact us for details and pricing.
