If you are looking for a high-quality acrylic replacement lens, we offer three options:
.060″ Matte White Acrylic
This is our workhorse material, used for 90% of our prints. It is relatively thick compared to other lighting lens products, which can be .040 and thinner. It is pliable enough to be carefully maneuvered into a fixture during installation and can be cut to size with a reasonable amount of skill.
.080″ Lumieo
Lumieo® is a premium white acrylic sheet that provides both high transmission and excellent lamp-hiding capabilities. The diffusion comes from a combination of a very fine surface texture and special diffusing additives. It is a more rigid material than our .060 white acrylic. We print on it upon request or when a larger size dictates it. Low inventory and temporarily available only for panels sized to require it.
.125″ Lumieo
This is the thickest light lens diffuser material we provide. Lumieo .125 is quite durable and has a beautiful diffusing quality, much like the .080 product. The option to purchase this thickness is restricted to truly oversized panels. If the size requires it, it will appear as the Print Medium option. Examples: 42″ x 32″ and 34″ x 34″.

Lightness-Darkness
The Panel Brightness rating assigned to each design is based on the average luminosity (0-Black to 255-White) of the digital artwork file. It can be used as a guideline to predict artwork light reduction of one design compared to another.

Panel Brightness Examples:
#5: Best designs for kitchens, bathrooms, and other rooms requiring the brightest light.
#4: Good designs for kitchens and bathrooms or in rooms where high light throughput is desired.
#3: Good for most lighting locations. Can work for kitchens in conjunction with a lot of other light sources (i.e., windows or canned lights).
#2: Not as dark as #1. Requires some task lighting in the room. Used commonly in treatment rooms.
#1: This design selection is for ambient lighting only with several other light sources for tasks.

The .080 Lumieo panels transmit the full spectrum of light and disperse it very well with our chosen 5000K LED tubes. The whole, slightly smaller than the standard panel lights up nearly uniformly with the center area closest to the tube only being a small amount brighter than the outer edge areas. The panels look good with dimmer control as well.
Custom cutting worked out great with this process: measured the minimum width an length of the mounting holders that keep the panel over the opening. Order panels 1/4 inch smaller than the measurement. This leaves 1/8" gap at each end so they fit without any uncovered edges on the opening. Measure the opening to ensure the ordered size is larger than the opening in both directions.
Installation was easy by flexing the long edge with the center area bowed downward. The the panel can be raised up with the panel at an angle along the width. This way it clear all around.

Great product. It's unfortunate that you have to order two (2) due to shipping charges, since only needed one, but these acrylic sheets are of very high quality. There is no comparison to the sheets that have been used in homes in the 1980's and 1990's when tube fluorescent lights were common. These sheets are much easier to handle, and they let more light through than what we had previously. I would highly recommend this product and this company.
