The Panel Brightness rating assigned to each design is based on the average luminosity (0-Black to 255-White) of the digital artwork file. It can be used as a guideline to predict artwork light reduction of one design compared to another.

Panel Brightness Examples:
#5: Best designs for kitchens, bathrooms, and other rooms requiring the brightest light.
#4: Good designs for kitchens and bathrooms or in rooms where high light throughput is desired.
#3: Good for most lighting locations. Can work for kitchens in conjunction with a lot of other light sources (i.e., windows or canned lights).
#2: Not as dark as #1. Requires some task lighting in the room. Used commonly in treatment rooms.
#1: This design selection is for ambient lighting only with several other light sources for tasks.

These panels are absolutely beautiful. Perfect fit, no cutting required. I was seriously considering tearing down the hideous light box in my kitchen. These were, by far, the less expensive option and it completely changed the look in my kitchen. The only issue id that out does tone down the brightness in the kitchen so I may consider replacing the original florescent bulbs with LEDs. Besides that, absolutely beautiful! Love the product!

These arrived today in very secure packaging. We opened and installed them into the "light box" in our kitchen. These are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! My initial plan was to tear out the light box and install different lighting. These panels took a blaring light box and turned it into a beautiful feature in my kitchen. Love the product...creates a softer ambiance than the white lights. Followed the measuring guide and ordered accordingly, but still had to cut the panels down to fit. Purchased 2 initially just to see how they would look, then purchased an additional 5 to complete the area.
