Sometimes, as a photographer, you find little gems in places that you don’t expect. There were many colorful autumn scenes along the Saco River, and this location just off HWY 35 in Maine inspired me to pull over and get the gear out. What really impressed me about this little landscaping creation, is that its only purpose is beauty. The land is private, even though it looks like it could be in a park. The beautiful lawn on the lake, covered walkways, and choice assortment of trees are the result of the creative vision of the owners of The Pool Shed in Hollis. They were kind enough to let me set up the gear and capture it during peak season.
